The New Tweed $673.2 Million Hospital Project is a Winner
The Tweed Valley Hospital Development valued at $582 Million has had a significant top up with the State Government announcing it would invest an extra $91.2 Million in the new hospital's development to service the Tweed Heads and Byron Communities.
This brings the grand total of the developments cost to around $673.2 Million.
Stage-Two of the Hospital's development is being constructed on a 23-hectare site at 771 Cudgen Road, which sits opposite the Kingscliff TAFE and not far from the Beautiful Kingscliff Beach which will give Patients a fresh health ocean breeze to enjoy.
Lendlease was appointed in December 2018 to deliver the planning and early works for the hospital which will comprise of a total of 545-Beds when complete, and is expected in around 2022 subject to approvals.
The demand for housing in this area is already showing strong signs as people gravitate to the area due to the Hospitals construction, and capital growth will obviously be prominent as the years progress.
